what is layering? Not understanding what you saying will be wrong if you dont “layer” it. Im a newbie.
Layering as in the coozie I was making the decal needed to layered
dont do this to any adhesive vinyl... it makes hazardous gases, google thermal decomposition of pvc
When you put your blanket in the dryer to get rid of the tape marks how long you out it in the dryer for. thank you.
I did it on the steam setting for the 20min cycle

My problem I've had with infusible ink is that the shirt I am pressing which is also 100% polyester, melts. What do you think the issue could be?
Too much heat or recycled polyester
This setting partnered with an offset is the absolute best! Thank you!

do you know how to remove htv from a coozie??
Maybe the same way you would a shirt, by heating from under the vinyl. I’d be super cautious though. It may melt, there is also an HTV remover you can try.

Not really other than it may actually be blue.
you only need the white glitter if your shirt is 100% cotton. Infusible ink is meant to be used on 100% polyester or a high polysyster mixed count, like 80% polyester and 40% cotton. The lower the polyester count the colors aren't as vibrant

It should, if not the paper may be wrong.
Have you used htv on a craft foam visor? did it work?
I haven’t, but foam is plastic it will likely melt.

You may need a new blade and/or a different setting for the material. What are you cutting when it does that?

I tried on white vinyl but it's not oracal, it's another brand & the colors look dull. Could the reason be that or I'm doing something wrong? I did try on clear oracal 651 & the colors look a bit better.
Oracal works best, the rest do turn dull.

Yes! Its sooo frustrating! But if you cut it several times before unloading it from the machine it does make it a lot less horrible.
